AndysHomeControl

AndysHomeControl is a free open source application made for TellStick. It of course includes all the basic options you may need for scheduling TellStick enabled gear.

You can put your electronics & lights on a schedule and have different settings for weekends. The computer does not have to be constantly on for all of this. AndysHomeControl simply sets your computer into stand-by mode when it does not need to be on and then turns it back on as needed. The application also lets you control your TellStick connected electronics using a picture layout of your home.

Some other fun features is that the application can be used as a picture gallery, you can personalize the icons for the TellStick enabled electronics, and you can create links to your favorite programs and websites.

AndysHomeControl can be run via the included web server so that you as well gain access to your TellStick connected electronics via the internet. The computer that has the TellStick obviously needs to be turned on and connected to the internet for this to work. If the computer with the TellStick is connected to the internet via a router then you just need to turn on Port-Forwarding or Open-Port on the router.
