Switch King

Switch King is a third-party application developed for TellStick and home automation. As the name implies it includes all options you may need for scheduling your TellStick enabled electronics & lights.

There are several really handy features. You can for example automate your TellStick electronics based upon received information on the outside temperature. A bluetooth phone can be used to tell your computer that you are home and automatically turn on your lights and then turn them off when you leave. You can also control your TellStick connected electronics using a picture layout of your home.

The computer as well does not have to be on constantly for all of this. The Switch King application turns your computer into stand-by when it does not need to be on and then turns it on as needed. 

An Android application is available to allow you to control your devices using a mobile phone. By using your own webserver you can automate your devices via the internet and as well an iphone. If the computer with the TellStick is connected to the internet via a router then you just need to turn on Port-Forwarding or Open-Port on the router.This means that you gain access to your TellStick connected gear from anywhere.

 

Switch King works on Windows and Linux.
